HOME VISE: This is an excellent tool for your home workshop. Manufactured from 65, 000 PSI Ductile Iron castings, which are three times stronger than cast iron vises.

TECHNICAL DETAILS: 5" (12.7CM) Jaw Width x 5" (12.7CM) Jaw Opening x 4" (10.2CM) Throat Depth x 0.125" D x 3.5"D Pipe Capacity (0.32CM x 8.9CM).

SWIVEL BASE: The vice head revolves 360° with regard to the vertical, locking at every 30° or (12) twelve separate locking points, and has a big 3.5" x 2.7" (8.9CM X 6.9CM) anvil work area.

HOW TO USE: Ensure that the vice is securely secured to the workbench and that the swivel base lock is tight. Turn the vice handle anticlockwise to open it. Insert the thing between the serrated jaws. Shut the vice by turning the vice handle clockwise until the item is snug in the serrated jaws, then tighten until the item cannot be moved any more. Overtightening may cause harm to the item and/or the vice. When you're through working on it, turn the screw handle anticlockwise to release it.
