Cut a hole in the ceiling to the desired size, then push up into the hole while folding the spring-loaded brackets. Double drywall, single drywall, and soffit ceiling types are all compatible with spring-loaded brackets.
Certified IC’s: The thin downlights from Sunco’s are IC certified, which means they are thermally protected and won't overheat or catch fire while encased in roof or overhead joist insulation. Direct touch with the insulation in the ceiling is safe for the light's junction box as well.
