Your movie's best buddy is the refrigerator. How Polaroid film functions is influenced by temperature. We advise keeping your film in the refrigerator (not the freezer) and letting it come to room temperature (13–28°C/55–82°F) before inserting it into your camera to keep it in shooting condition.

Photos with crisper rollers will be more vivid. There are rollers inside the film door of each Polaroid camera. It is more difficult for the chemical to spread across the film frame if these rollers are unclean. Cleanse them gently with a clean, wet cloth if they appear to be soiled.

Always position the light behind you or to your side when taking photos, whether you are utilising artificial light or a studio setup. Your images may turn out black and blown out if you point the camera directly into the light. Also, even on a sunny day, we advise using the flash whenever possible to produce excellent results.

Darkness is necessary for light to do its magic, yet light is required for the perfect photograph. Many chemical processes happen within the confines of the little film frame when you snap a picture. Your shot will turn out best if you let it develop face down in a warm, dark area.
