Prepare the Negg: Add 1/4 cup of water or the Negg capful of water to the Negg container. Place your hard-boiled egg inside and secure the top cap.
Get Ready to Shake: Ensure the top cap is sealed, and you're set to begin. Hold the Negg firmly and shake it up and down with enough force for the egg to strike the caps. Be cautious not to shake too vigorously to avoid creating a messy slush.
Monitor Progress: The Negg's clear body allows you to watch the process. Shake the Negg until you feel the eggshell beginning to "soften," typically requiring 4 to 12 shakes. The timing may vary.
Look for White Appearance: Keep shaking until you observe the white part of the egg. This indicates that the shell is loosening, and you're close to success.
Mission Accomplished: Once you see the white of the egg, your mission is accomplished. The egg should easily slip out of its shell.
Addressing Reluctant Shellers: In some cases, if the egg is hesitant to release from the shell, you may need to break the membrane after shaking. This can happen with extremely fresh eggs but is not the usual scenario.
